From a purely rational standpoint, a mask serves no practical purpose. Yet, historically, it is a powerful tool of transformation. Shamans and mystics wore them to step beyond their own "self" and become a spirit or a deity.

Over time, this primal magic transitioned into theater, and later into modern visual culture. Today, artists, DJs, and performers use masks for the exact same purpose: to create an alter ego, amplify the audience's emotions, and shift their own state of mind. And no matter the aesthetic—be it dark futurism, neon cyberpunk, or complex technological forms—the goal remains unchanged.

This very boundary between a person and their persona is the main driving force behind WorkshopRS. The journey began at fifteen with a simple papier-mâché mask. Years later, reinforced by experience and a conscious choice, this passion evolved into a system. Thus, in 2020, the WorkshopRS studio was officially born.

Today, the workshop merges cutting-edge technology with meticulous handcrafting. The foundation of the process relies on 3D modeling, scanning, 3D printing, and casting with polyurethane resins. But it is always human hands that breathe life into the mask: the final finishing, painting, assembly, and fitting are done entirely in person.

The core of our approach is honest work with form. We focus on original artisan designs. But even if a mask is inspired by a famous game or movie, we never use pre-made, downloaded 3D models. Every project, from the first polygon on the screen to the final coat of paint, is developed and created from scratch.
